Sync that doesn't fail silently

One unreadable change no longer stops everything else from syncing, and you get a calm heads-up when something needs you.

Sync is only worth having if it quietly keeps working.

Until now, one unreadable change on a device could stop sync from moving forward at all. The device kept looking at the same spot, nothing newer ever arrived, and /CMD-Note never told you why. Your notes just weren't showing up, and you couldn't tell whether to wait or worry.

That's not good enough, so we changed it. One bad change no longer holds everything else hostage. Everything that can be read keeps syncing. The item that can't is set aside rather than thrown away, and /CMD-Note retries it on its own if the cause gets fixed later.

If something really can't be read, you get a calm, specific heads-up: which note, its date, and a link to restore. When it's resolved, the warning clears itself.

We considered a pop-up with only a "dismiss" button and rejected it on purpose. It would add friction without giving you anything you could do.

Sync shouldn't fail silently, and it shouldn't panic you either. One reminder: sync keeps your devices in line. It isn't a backup.
