App Artisans is an independent studio in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In these terms, "App Artisans" and "we" refer to its founder, Hafiz Zakaria.

Use the site and the apps at your own risk.

The site and the apps are provided as they are, with no warranty.

To the extent the law allows, App Artisans is not liable for loss or damage from using the site or the apps, including lost data.

These terms may change. The version on this page is the current one.

Malaysian law governs these terms.

Privacy

CMD-Note keeps your notes on your device. Sync is optional and described below.

If you turn on sync, your notes are end-to-end encrypted on your device before upload, and we can't read them. Device names you set are encrypted too. The encrypted data plus minimal technical data needed for sync (identifiers for your notes and paired devices, timestamps, and the type of each change) are stored with Supabase in Singapore.

Sync keeps your devices in step. It isn't a backup, so use /exp to keep your own copy.

You can unpair devices from within CMD-Note.

This website is hosted on Netlify and the apps on Vercel. Like any website, the hosts process standard request data such as IP addresses to serve pages. CMD-Note also uses Vercel Speed Insights, which collects anonymous performance measurements.

No ads, no tracking for advertising, and we don't sell your data.

We aim to handle personal data in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email studio@app-artisans.dev.
